— The situation
Atlantis Space is a creative studio and event room. Photographers, small production crews and brand teams book it by the day. When people walk in, it sells itself — the light is good, the ceiling is high, the fit-out is careful.
None of that was reaching anyone online. The business ran on a single-page site built years earlier, a handful of Instagram posts, and word of mouth between people who had already been. Enquiries arrived by DM, by email and occasionally by phone, and nothing recorded which of the three had happened.
The brief we agreed was blunt: make the website do what the room does.
— what we did
Three moves, in order.
Built the identity out
There was a logo and nothing else. We extended it into a full system — type, colour, photographic direction and a set of rules — so that the site, the deck and the signage finally agreed with each other.
Led with the space itself
Every page opens on the room. Dimensions, light, power, access and what's included are stated plainly, rather than buried in a PDF, because those are the five things every booker asks before they ask about price.
Made one route in
One enquiry form, capturing date, shoot type and crew size. It lands in a single inbox, tagged and logged, so nothing falls between DMs and email any more.
— Under the hood
Built on Wix Studio, handed over completely.
CMS-driven gallery — the team adds shoots themselves, no developer involved.
Enquiry routing — form to inbox to spreadsheet, tagged by shoot type.
Responsive across four breakpoints — 1240 / 960 / 750 / 480.
Accessibility pass — contrast, focus states, alt text, keyboard order.
Performance pass — image compression, lazy loading, font subsetting.
Full handover session — recorded, so new staff can watch it later.
— NEXT
Three businesses that stopped fighting their own websites.
